50+ Years Old? How to Stand Out in Your Job Search

Over the course of a person’s career, he (or she) works tirelessly to acquire specialized knowledge and skills. But, as time wears on, that person finds fewer job openings to match his (or her) credentials—and, equally important, his (or her) expected earnings. Workers who are 50-years-old or older often find themselves at a peak pay grade, but are finding fewer job openings for their level of experience.
